Disney's Beach Club Resort

Disney's Beach Club Resort is a New England-style Disney Deluxe Resort, shaded by broad oak trees and lapped by the gentle waters of 25-acre Crescent Lake.

The lake is the site of lively family activity—its surface dotted with rented watercraft and catch-and-release fishers. Stormalong Bay—a water wonderland located within the Resort—features waterfalls, a lazy circular river, a waterslide, an elevated tanning deck and Hurricane Hanna's Grill, a poolside counter-service restaurant and bar.

Our 576 Guest rooms are decked in accoutrements befitting a surf-and-sand sanctuary, some with panoramic views of the Resort grounds, gardens, lagoons or the lake. Relax on charming white wicker furniture and enjoy a whimsical salmon and light green color palette that recalls the humble comfort of a bygone era, brought to life again at Disney's Beach Club Resort.

Watch chefs prepare succulent steaks, seafood, chicken and lamb dishes in the open kitchen of Yachtsman Steakhouse. Discover the Ship Shape Health Club, open 24 hours a day and offering saunas, steam rooms and massage therapy. Stretch out on the white-sand beach, or soak in 3 quiet crystal pools and 7 spas scattered across the Resort grounds on your divine seaside holiday.
Disney's Beach Club Resort has been designated by the Florida Green Lodging Program, recognizing the Resort's environmentally responsible practices.

The Walt Disney Company Story

The Walt Disney Company (NYSEDIS), commonly referred to as Disney, is an American multinational media conglomerate headquartered in Walt Disney Studios, Burbank, California, United States. It is the largest media conglomerate in the world in terms of revenue.[3] Founded on October 16, 1923, by Walt and Roy Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, Walt Disney Productions established itself as a leader in the American animation industry before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and travel. Taking on its current name in 1986, The Walt Disney Company expanded its existing operations and also started divisions focused upon theatre, radio, music, publishing, and online media. In addition, it has created new divisions of the company in order to market more mature content than it typically associates with its flagship family-oriented brands.

The company is best known for the products of its film studio, the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, and today one of the largest and best-known studios in Hollywood. Disney also owns and operates the ABC broadcast television network; cable television networks such as Disney Channel, ESPN, A+E Networks, and ABC Family; publishing, merchandising, and theatre divisions; and owns and licenses 14 theme parks around the world. It also has a successful music division. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1991. An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company.

The Walt Disney Company operates as four primary divisions: The Walt Disney Studios or Studio Entertainment, which includes the company's film, recording label, and theatrical divisions; Parks and Resorts, featuring the company's theme parks, cruise line, and other travel-related assets; Disney Consumer Products, which produces toys, clothing, and other merchandising based upon Disney-owned properties, and Media

Networks, which includes the company's television and Internet operations.
